It was not held in 2025 because of several issues. After Greenfield Greyhounds Running Events passed the event to Oldham Mountain Rescue Team (OMRT), the race is back under OMRT's organisation.

- Field capped at up to 300 runners and the race will be fully chip timed.
- Categories include men's and women's races, veteran classes from FV35 to MV70, and men's and women's team events with the first three finishers counting.

- Organisation moved from Greenfield Greyhounds Running Events to OMRT, with OMRT trainee Colin Green remaining as race director.
